Renegades Land Andy

The 2009-2010 regular season Howe Conference Champion Renegades filled their goaltending need by acquiring Craig Anderson from the Havoc, sending Prospects John Carlson, Justin Pogge & Calvin de-Haan to the Havoc.  The Havoc also acquired the Renegades 6th round pick of the 2011 draft while the Renegades acquired the Havoc's 2nd round pick of the 2011 draft.  The past few seasons the Renegades have had Marty Turco in net, who has done an excellent job, with a .920 save percentage last season.  Though do to his contract expiring and the fact that he is getting up their in age, the Renegades wanted to find a new younger goal tender that could be between the pipes for the R-Gades for seasons to come.
Anderson also happens to be the team's general manager's favorite goal tender in the league.

The Renegades are likely not going to make any other deals, as their roster is relatively set, with just about everyone but Turco and back up goal tender Brent Johnson expected to be retained.  If they have budget room after they have negotiated contracts with their RFAs, expect the Renegades to consider going after a top LW or C free agent.
